2024 Coaches Announced
We're thrilled to welcome back Jac Clark as our Head Coach for 2024. Jac came in with knowledge, leadership, and long-term strategic thinking that brought about his promotion to Head Coach mid-season in 2023. He led the team to our first two wins since 2019! And importantly, he demonstrated that he is a great fit for the organization, leading with empathy and a growth mindset.
We are also very excited that Jenny Gold is returning as Assistant Coach, and Maddy Frey, Co-Founder of Atlanta Soul and the PUL, will be an Assistant Coach. Jenny has a knack for individual coaching and she pushes players to play at their best. Maddy brings with her a wealth of ultimate experience and a thorough knowledge of the skills and habits that it takes to achieve a team’s goals.
Brand new to the team this year is Assistant Coach Alec Chosewood. Alec is coming to Atlanta Soul with a passion for developing system-focused teams and an excitement to coach in the PUL for the first time.
We're already seeing enthusiasm from players to be coached by this great team of people!
Tryouts are Underway
We had over 80 players sign up for tryouts this year, coming from not only Atlanta but all over the Southeast. We haven't experienced this level of interest since the pandemic started, and the skill and talent were also the highest we have seen in recent years. This is a great sign that we are on our way to rebuilding to the championship-caliber team we were in the first few years.
Importantly, players who came to the open tryout weekends reported the atmosphere was awesome. They learned new skills, had fun, and connected with each other while competing for spots on the team. This type of inclusive, yet challenging environment is what we are striving for, and the team leaders are making it happen right from the start!
If the weather doesn't stop us this weekend, we will have our final closed tryouts and be ready to make the 2024 roster!

Announcing the Frosty Fundraiser Disc Golf Tournament
Register on Disc Golf Scene to participate in this fundraiser tournament! There will be a player party after the tournament, for both disc golfers and Atlanta Soul players and coaches.

Announcing VC Uniform Partnership
